The study concerns the sliding of a prestressed concrete slab on the soil and it is assumed that the slab is semi-infinite, it is constructed rapidly and is subjected to a constant prestressing thrust to at its origin. Moreover, the frinction of the slab on the sand subgrade follows a law similar to that derived from the direct shear test. The shear force or shear stress it is expressed as a function to the relative dispalcement n of the slab in every point and this curve is shown experimentally to be in good agreement with similar curves derived from the direct shear test.
Η μελέτη αφορά την ολίσθηση των πλακών από προεντεταμένο σκυρόδεμα πάνω στο έδαφος, η οποία έχει μεγάλη σπουδαιότητα όσον αφορά την τεχνολογία κατασκευής οδών και διαδρόμων αεροδρομίων. Αυτή η ολίσθηση επιτρέπει την μετάδοση της δύναμης προέντασης από την πλάκα προς το έδοαφος και την μεταβολή αυτής, γιατί είναι ακόμη δυνατόν να εκτελούνται επανατάξεις φορτίσεως οι οποίες παρέχουν στο σκυρόδεμα την απολεσθείσα προένταση είτε εξ ερηνσμού, είτε εκ συστολής.
