This study is referred to psychological researches which were carried out on children in the years 1924,1925,1927 and 1928 for the purpose of determing the sense of intelligence.
The aim of the study is the determination of the progress and the peculiarities of the physical build of the children in Greece, throughout the duration of their development.
In addition, the study aims at the nuravelling of various points of their psychic evolution for the right regulation of the work of their education and teaching, in our schools.
From the results of the study and the conclusions of relevant researches arose that intelligence is the general capacity of man, with the intentional use of intellet in order to act for each wory and to find right solutions and provide outlets to the science, profession and practical life.
Η μελέτη αυτή αναφέρεται σε ψυχολογικές έρευνες που έγιναν σε παιδιά και διεξήχθησαν τα έτη 1924,1925,1927 και 1928, με στόχο τον καθορισμό της έννοιας της νοημοσύνης. Σκοπός της μελέτης είναι ο καθορισμός της πορείας και οι ιδιορρυθμίες της σωματικής αύξησης των παιδιών στην Ελλάδα καθ' όλη την διάρκεια της ανάπτυξης.
Επίσης, η μελέτη αποβλέπει και στην διελεύκανση διαφόρων σημείων της ψυχικής τους εξέλιξης για τη σωστή ρύθμιση του έργου της αγωγής και της διδασκαλείας τους στα σχολεία μας.
Από τα συμπεράσματα της μελέτης και τα εξαγόμενα των σχετικών ερευνών προκύπτει ότι η νοημοσύνη είναι η γενική ικανότητα του προσώπου, με τη σκόπιμη χρήση της διάννοιας να ενεργεί για τον κάθε τρόπο και να βρίσκει σωστές λύσεις και διεξόδους στην επιστήμη, στο επάγγελμα και στον πρακτικό βίο.
