The study provides data which prove that the aggregation of water into artificial lakes contributes to the appearance of earthquakes. It is examined in Marathon's lake the interdependence of the earthquakes as well the fluctuations coming from the increase or decrease of the masses of water on the base of the lakes.
Παρατίθενται δεδομένα τα οποία αποδεικνύουν ότι η συσσώρευση ύδατος εντός των τεχνητών λιμνών συμβάλλει στην εκδήλωση σεισμών. Εξετάζεται στην λίμνη του Μαραθώνος η αλληλοεξάρτηση σεισμών και αυξομειώσεων πιέσεων, προερχομένων απ'την αύξηση ή ελάττωση των μαζών του ύδατος επί του υποβάθρου των λιμνών.
