1) Experiments for neutralising solutions of olive oils in petroleum ether by salts of a tertiary anionexchange resin, Duolite A6, proved that the greatest absorbing capacity was attributed to the phosphate form of the resin. 2) Besides the acids absorbed during the neutralisation process, an amount of neutral oil was also absorbed that showed an increased index of refraction and a strong absorption in the ultraviolet light. 3) The regeneration (elution) of the columns was made with a mixture of petroleum ether and ether I:I.
Μελετάται η εξουδετέρωση ελαιολάδου σε διάλυμα βενζίνης από διάφορες στήλες αλάτων της ανιονανταλλακτικής ρητίνης Duolite A6. Παρατηρείται ότι κατά την εξουδετέρωση του ελαιολάδου εκτός των οξέων προσροφάται και ποσοστό ουδέτερου ελαίου, το οποίο εμφανίζει μεγάλο δείκτη διάθλασης και ισχυρή απορρόφηση στο υπεριώδες φως.
