The data that arose by measurements that took place in the observatory of Athens, during the period 1934-1940, are studied. The measurements were carried out with the bolt B of the equatorial micrometre doricle, with a span of 400mm.
Since it was measured the distance of each tape from the north or south rim of the planet's disc arose that : a) as regards the transpotion of the tapes of jupiter breadthwise is obvious the influence of the mutating result of the sun's pull on the equator protrusion of the planet in connection with the velocity of its revolution in both hemispheres and b) the degree of precision of the measurements does not permit the accurate observation of the course of the phenomenon and the determination of the relevant period.
Μελετώνται τα στοιχεία των μετρήσεων που διεξήχθησαν στο αστεροσκοπείο Αθηνών, κατά την χρονική περίοδο 1934-1940. Οι μετρήσεις έγιναν με τον κοχλία Β του μικρομέτρου του Ισημερινού Δωρίδου, ανοίγματος 400mm. Αφού μετρήθηκε η απόσταση κάθε ταινίας από το βόρειο ή νότιο χείλος του δίσκου του πλανήτη προκύπτει ότι : α) σε ότι αφορά τη μετάθεση των ταινιών του Δία κατά πλάτος, είναι έκδηλη η επίδραση του μεταπτωτικού αποτελέσματος της έλξεως του ηλίου επί του ισημερινού εξογκώματος του πλανήτη συναρτήσει της ταχύτητας περιστροφής του στα δύο ημισφαίρια και β) ο βαθμός ακρίβειας των μετρήσεων δεν επιτρέπει την ακριβή παρακολούθηση της πορείας του φαινομένου και τον προσδιορισμό της σχετικής περιόδου.
