The present study forms the continuation of a previous one, which was concluded in 1953, referred to the populations of the regions of Epirus, Macedonia and Thrace and proved that there were differences between the children of these regions. The new study took place during the period of August-September of 1955 and only at Epirus. The in question research contains full statistical analysis, comparisons of the data with these of the previous one and examination of the differences on the basis of statistical criteria as well observations as regards the shape of the head, the hue of the hair and the blood group.
Η παρούσα μελέτη αποτελεί την συνέχεια παλαιότερης η οποία διεξήχθει το 1953, αναφερόταν σε πληθυσμούς των διαμερισμάτων της Ηπείρου, Μακεδονίας και Θράκης και έδειξε ότι υπήρχαν διαφορές μεταξύ των παιδιών των άνω διαμερισμάτων. Η νεότερη μελέτη έλαβε χώρα το διάστημα Αυγούστου-Σεπτεμβρίου του 1955 στην Ήπειρο. Η εν λόγω έρευνα περιλαμβάνει πλήρη στατιστική ανάλυση, συγκρίσεις των δεδομένων με αυτά της προγενέστερης μελέτης και έλεγχο των διαφορών βάσει στατιστικών κριτηρίων καθώς και παρατηρήσεις όσον αφορά το σχήμα του κεφαλιού, την χροιά των μαλλιών και την ομάδα αίματος.
