The study is based on palaeontological material which regards the environs of Athens and examines the miocenic emplacements of Attica. From the study of the fauna was certified the presence of 5 new kinds which belong to the gasteropods of the phase of fresh waters and then the writer proceeds to a stratigraphic study.
Η μελέτη βασίζεται σε παλαιοντολογικό υλικό το οποίο αφορά τα περίχωρα των Αθηνών και εξετάζει τις μειοκαινικές αποθέσεις της Αττικής. Από την μελέτη της πανίδας πιστοποιείται η παρουσία 5 νέων ειδών τα οποία ανήκουν σε γαστερόποδα της φάσεως των γλυκών νερών και προβαίνει σε στρωματογραφική μελέτη.
