In this paper is given the stratigraphy of the Northern part of Andros, where the fossiliferous formations occur, in general concludes the following members : 1) the schists of Makrotantalon, 2) the marbles of Makrotantalon, 3) the schists of Agioi Saranta with intercalated marbles, 4) the cipolines of Agios Petros with intercalated schists. In the marbles of Makrotantalon some fossils were found. Hense the marbles of Makrotantalon beolng to lower Perm and Late-Paleozoic age in generally suggested for the metamorphics of Andros island.
Στην ανακοίνωση δίδεται 1) η εικόνα της μορφολογίας των Κυκλάδων και 2) η πετρογραφική σύσταση και ηλικία αυτών. Ειδικότερα ασχολείται με την νήσο Άνδρο και αποδεικνύει ότι η νήσος αυτή, αποτελούσε μέχρι του Περμίου ενιαία εκτεταμένη ξηρά. Μόνο μετά την επίδραση καθολικών ηπειρωτικών κινήσεων η έκταση αυτή έγινε βαθύτερη. Μετά τις κινήσεις αυτές, έλαβε χώρα η επίκληση της θάλασσας του Περμίου.
