This speech is referred to the technological developments of medicine but also to the disasterous consequences for the enviroment which arose from this technological progress. The increase of the average rate of life and the increase of the human population that this involves, hold as a consequence the increase of the consuption and the distabilization of the biosphere and the earth's systems. The need for changing the mentality of men towards the consumption is underlined. Finally, the cultivation of soul and spirit began to emerge as the only solution for the salvation of nature.
Η ομιλία αυτή αναφέρεται στις τεχνολογικές προόδους της Ιατρικής αλλά και στις καταστροφικές συνέπειες της τεχνολογικής αυτής προόδου στο περιβάλλον. Η αύξηση του μέσου όρου διαβίωσης και η εξ'αυτής αύξηση του ανθρώπινου πληθυσμού είχε σαν αποτέλεσμα την αύξηση της κατανάλωσης και την αποσταθεροποίηση των οικοσυστημάτων και της βιόσφαιρας. Τονίζεται η ανάγκη αλλαγής της νοοτροπίας των ανθρώπων σχετικά με την αύξηση της κατανάλωσης και η καλλιέργεια της ψυχής και του πνεύματος σαν μοναδική λύση σωτηρίας της φύσης.
