In this article special attention is given to the stress of cross section suspension of hanging wire, where 1=length of the wire, p=weight per unit-length. One of the ends of the wire remains constant, while the other moves along an horizontal straight line passing through the constant end. This study can be useful as a guide for the tracing diagrams of any cross-section of a wire, under the assumption that the type which gives the stress is known.
Εξετάζεται η τάση στις διατομές πακτώσεων των ανηρτημένων συρμάτων, τα οποία παρουσιάζουν την μεγαλύτερη κόπωση στις διατομές αυτές. Θεωρούν δεδομένη την σταθερή θερμοκρασία του σύρματος, ότι οι τάσεις εξαρτώνται μόνο από το βάρος και το βέλος αναρτήσεώς του, ότι είναι ομοιογενές, ανέκτατο και εύκαμπτο, και παρουσιάζονται τα αποτελέσματα.
