The speech is referred to the work of the French philhellene Paul Claudel and it is based on a personal letter on the occasion of his work "The lot of afternoon". Furthermore, it is stressed out the worship and respect of P. Claudel for the ancient Greek culture. After his death the "Comedie Francaise" mounted the play "PROTEUS" as an affirmation of his love for our "cultural inheritance".
Αναφορά στο έργο του Γάλλου φιλέλληνα Paul Claudel, η οποία στηρίζεται σε προσωπική επιστολή επ' ευκαιρία του έργου του "Ο κλήρος του μεσημεριού". Στην αναφορά αυτή τονίζεται η λατρεία και ο σεβασμός του P. Claudel για τον αρχαίο ελληνικό πολιτισμό. Μετά το θάνατο του η Comedie Francaise ανεβάζει τον ΠΡΩΤΕΑ σαν επιβεβαίωση της αγάπης του για την "πολιτιστική μας κληρονομιά".
