The study concerns the examination of the old age as a biological phenomenon. The factors which contribute to the precocious ageing of the man are reported, as well these that contribute to its slackening. Moreover, there are reported the psychological, social, financial and moral speculations of the elderlies and it is suggested the attitude of man towards the old age.
Εξετάζεται το γήρας σαν βιολογικό φαινόμενο. Αναφέρονται οι παράγοντες που συντελούν στην πρόωρη γήρανση του ανθρώπου, καθώς επίσης και σε παράγοντες που συντελούν στην επιβράδυνση του. Αναφέρονται οι ψυχολογικοί, κοινωνικοί, οικονομικοί και ηθικοί προβληματισμοί των ηλικιωμένων ατόμων και προτείνεται στάση του ανθρώπου απέναντι στα γηρατειά.
