A detailed analysis concerning the intense tectonic earthquake, which shaked the mountains of the Central Peloponnese on the 6th of July of 1925, is cited in the present study. The intensity of the earthquake effected the sprain of the graphic system of the horizontal pendulum Wiechert of the Observatory of Athens, almost simultaneously with the inrush to it of the first-long wave, during the fall of the pen of the E-W component of the seismograph Mainka, after the recording of elongated waves. This earthquake was recorded only by the N-S component of the seismograph Mainka.
Δίνεται λεπτομερής αναφορά του ισχυρού τεκτονικού σεισμού από τον οποίο σείσθηκαν τα όρη της Κεντρικής Πελοποννήσου την 6η Ιουλίου 1925. Η σφοδρότητα του σεισμού επέφερε την εξάρθρωση του γραφικού συστήματος του οριζόντιου εκκρεμούς Wiechert του Αστεροσκοπείου Αθηνών, ταυτόχρονα σχεδόν με την εισβολή σ' αυτό του πρώτου επιμηκούς κύματος, κατά την πτώση της γραφίδας της E-W συνιστώσας του σεισμογράφου Mainka, μετά την αναγραφή των επιμηκών κυμάτων. Το σεισμό
αυτό κατέγραψε μόνο η N-S συνιστώσα του σεισμογράφου Mainka.
