The theory of erosion and of the fissures, on the basis of rules, according to which is aknowledged that it is performed the further lie of the exterior crust of the earth, is studied in detail.
Moreover, it arose that the main morphogenetic factors don't compose the laws of the theories but the diverse tectonic construction of the crust of earth and the influence of the climatological conditions of the latitudes.
Finally, it is examined whether geomorphology constitutes a science or composes a part of geology, on the basis of the study was concluded that geomorphology is in close connection with the geology but also constitutes an independent science.
Μελετάται λεπτομερώς η θεωρία της διαβρώσεως και των ρηγμάτων επί τη βάσει κανόνων κατά τους οποίους παραδέχονται ότι τελείται η περεταίρω διαμόρφωση του εξωτερικού φλοιού της γής.
Βρίσκει ότι οι κυριώτεροι μορφογενετικοί παράγοντες δεν είναι οι νόμοι των θεωριών αλλά η ποικίλη τεκτονική κατασκευή του φλοιού της γής και η επίδραση των κλιματολογικών συνθηκών και γεωγραφικών πλατών.
Εξετάζει ακόμα αν η γεωμορφολογία αποτελεί επιστήμη ή είναι μέρος της γεωλογίας και καταλήγει στο ότι παρά το ότι είναι στενά συνδεδεμένη με την γεωλογία αποτελεί ανεξάρτητη επιστήμη.
