In this announcement , m. Balanos exposes his opinion on regulations of the civil code plan concerning impediments of weddings between relatives. The examination of this matter is made by a theoretical point of view, in other words, from the aspect that if social and practical needs impose the reduction of impediments, the church would have had reasons to object to it.
A historic retrospection is made so it can be credited as to how much the proposed modifications from the constituent commity of the civil code, concerning the impediments of weddings are opposed and as to how much they oppose the religious institution.
Finally, the opinion is expressed that with an academic manner, without a prejudiced exchange of opinions, with announcements and studies, a solution can be found without unwanted arguments.
Στην ανακοίνωση αυτή ο κ. Μπαλάνος εκθέτει την γνώμη του επι των διατάξεων του σχεδίου του αστικού κώδικα ως προς τα εκ συγγενείας κωλύματα του γάμου. Η εξέταση του ζητήματος γίνεται από καθαρά θεωρητική άποψη, δηλ. από της απόψεως αν, εφόσον κοινωνικές και πρακτικές ανάγκες επιβάλλουν την μείωση των κωλυμάτων, η εκκλησία θα είχε λόγους να αντιταχθεί σ' αυτό.
Γίνεται ιστορική αναδρομή για να πιστωθεί κατά πόσο οι προτεινόμενες από την συντακτική επιτροπή του αστικού κώδικα τροποποιήσεις, όσο αφορά τα κωλύματα του γάμου, αντίκεινται και κατά πόσο προς τα θρησκευτικά θέσμια. Τέλος εκφράζεται η άποψη ότι δι' αντικειμενική και ακαδημαική και χωρίς προκαταλήψεις ανταλλαγής γνωμών, με ανακοινώσεις και μελέτες, μπορεί να βρεθεί λύση χωρίς ανεπιθύμητες; προστριβές και παρεξηγήσεις.
