Study, which is referred to the monopolies of Lagides, which composed the most important source of income. Especially, the system of Lagides in distiguished from these of the rest greek-macedonian monarchies. In particular, the following are examined : a) The number and the nature of monopolies, b) Their form and c) Their origin. On this basis of the research arose that this institution wasn't greek invention and that the system of Ptolemies contained measures for the benefit of the producers and consumers as well. Lagides provided for the securing of their fund great income, took care of the economical promotion of their country and they didn't oppresses the natives.
Μελέτη η οποία αναφέρεται στα μονοπώλια των Λαγιδών, τα οποία αποτελούσαν την κυριότερη πηγή προσόδων των Προλεμαίων. Ειδικότερα δε, το σύστημα των Λαγιδών διακρίνεται από αυτά των υπολοίπων ελληνομακεδονικών μοναρχιών. Συγκεκριμένα, εξετάζονται : α) ο αριθμός και η φύση των μονοπωλίων, β) η μορφή τους και γ) η προέλευση τους. Βάσει της έρευνας προέκυψε ότι ο θεσμός δεν αποτελεί ελληνικό επινόημα και ότι το σύστημα των Πτολεμαίων περιελάμβανε μέτρα προς όφελος των παραγωγών και των καταναλωτών. Οι Λαγίδες φρόντιζαν να εξασφαλίσουν στο ταμείο τους μεγάλες προσόδους, μεριμνούσαν για την οικονομική προαγωγή της χώρας τους και δεν καταπίεζαν τους ιθαγενείς.
