In the present lecture are reported the questions that the rapid evolution of technology poses to the modern man. In addition, it is pinpointed that the power and the prestige of technology increase the dependence of man on it. Moreover, this situation is pregnant with risks for the private life of man. Finally, the need for controlling and restriction the technology is underlined in order to not turn out detrimental to the interests of the humankind.
Στην ομιλία αναφέρονται ερωτήματα που θέτει στο σύγχρονο άνθρωπο η ραγδαία εξέλιξη της τεχνολογίας. Τονίζεται ότι η δύναμη και το κύρος της τεχνολογίας μεγαλώνουν την εξάρτηση του ανθρώπου από αυτήν, και κυοφορούν κινδύνους για την ιδιωτική ζωή του ανθρώπου. Τονίζεται επίσης η ανάγκη ελέγχου και περιορισμού της τεχνολογίας ώστε να μην αποβεί εις βάρος της ανθρώπινης ύπαρξης.
