Commemoration, in order to be honoured the memory of Emeritus Professor of the Byzantine philology and history, of the University of Rome, Giuseppe Schiro. References to the extensive and significant writing and publishing work, which is mainly divided in three sectors: a) Byzantine philosophy and theological thinking, b) Hagiology and c) Hymnography, are reported too.
